Sankoo campus GDC Kargil organizes expert talks, interactive session on Ladakh Education Fair 2022

Kargil, August 19, 2022: Sankoo campus Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil today organized an expert talk and interactive session on the first day Ladakh Education Fair 2022.

After the online inauguration by Lieutenant Governor UT Ladakh RK Mathur, the interactive session started with an interactive session on “Career Opportunities in Defence” by Captain Krishika Sharma of 608 EME BN of Indian Army.

She explained the career opportunities in Defense. While Dr Fatima Nissa, District Nodal Officer Mental Health and her team delivered talks on mental health in post-Covid-19.

Mohammad Jaffar Khan budding local entrepreneur also held a session on entrepreneur and business opportunities. Students from nearby Higher Secondaries also attended the sessions. They gave good feedback regarding the fair and requested to continue the same on annual basis.

Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil from Sankoo Constituency H.I. Agha Syed Ahmed Rizvi was the chief guest on the occasion.

He expressed gratitude to the UT Administration for conducting the education fair. He also thanked the college campus authorities for organizing the fair at Sankoo Campus.

The program was successfully conducted despite limited infrastructure resources. Dr Abid Hussain presented the vote of thanks to all the participants at the end.
