Takes stock of progress of developmental activities, hears Grievances

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 07:  District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today visited  Brariangan, Shangus  and took stock of developmental activities under the RDD sector.

He also visited Uma Bhagwati Temple, located in the Village on request of the newly elected Body of the Trust represented by P M Kaul and  K K Dhar.  People of the village, trustees  were present on the occasion along with concerned Tehsildar, BDO & SHO.

BDC Chairperson apprised DDC of various issues and requirements of the area.

He discussed developmental matters of the temple with its newly elected office bearers. He also took review of developmental activities under execution in the temple and instructed for early completion of these works.

DDC was informed that six works have been taken up by the Rural Development Department under 14th FC and Capex which are nearing completion.

He also met locals of the village and listened to their grievances and assured action for resolution of grievances and matters of public importance.
