Srinagar, August 7: Frequent water logging in Wawoosa, New Colony Rangreth has irked the inhabitants of the area.
The locals of the area alleged that the water flowing through a nearby Nallah has drowned the entire area, resulting huge loses to the locals.
“The water flow has been choked due to encroachment by some influential people in the area,” they alleged.
A local delegation led by respectable citizens met senior BJP leader and chief spokesperson for party’s Minority Morcha Hilal Jan and apprised him about the worst condition of the people.
“Hilal Jan has assured that this genuine issue will be taken with the concerned authorities for the redressal,” locals said.
Senior BJP leader also appealed Lt governor led administration to look into the genuine issues of the inhabitants for timely redressal.
