UDHAMPUR, JULY 27: NCC cadets of 1 J&K Girls battalion, NCC Srinagar, GCW Udhampur on Wednesday celebrated ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ in the honour of Kargil war heroes.
The cadets remembered the India’s war victory and paid tributes to Kargil martyrs.
They took pledge to dedicate themselves for the service of the country.
The students also lighted candles and observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect towards the departed souls.
Cadet Shivanika Sharma spoke on the significance of the day. The activities were conducted under guidance of principal of the college Dr. Monika Sharma. ANO Shallu Jasrotia also accompanied and appreciated the cadets.
