DC Kulgam holds public darbar at Nagam, inaugurates Nagam-Boh MGNREGA road

KULGAM, JULY 02: With an endeavors to take the governance to the doorsteps of people living in far-off and rural areas, the Deputy Commissioner, (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Noorbad area where he presided over at a grievance redressal camp at  Nagam village.

On the occasion, people demanded augmentation of health facilities and Macademisation of link roads. They also demanded augmentation of the water supply scenario and put forth various other demands of public importance.

The Deputy Commissioner gave patient hearing to the issues and grievances of people here and redressed scores of issues and grievances of people on spot which were projected by the people during this grievances redressal programme.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ACR, ACD, BDO,Tehsildar and other officers.

Later the Deputy Commissioner also inaugurated Nagam-Boh road which was constructed under MGNREGA with an estimated cost of 18 lacs.

It was informed by the ACD Mohammad Imran Khan that the road will benefit 3 village in the area and also will benefit farmers and orchardists in the area.
