DDC Reasi reviews developmental achievements under Capex Budget plan 2022-23

REASI, JULY 02: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress under District Capex Budget 2022-23.

At the outset, CPO Sunita Kanchan gave a detailed overview regarding the number of works approved, estimated prepared and  work tendered for the financial year 2022-23.

The District Development Commissioner emphasized to prioritize the completion of ongoing works as per the approved plan after fulfilling all the codal formalities required under rules.

She also reiterated that timely completion of development plans will help a lot and show some visible impact in the field.

Addressing the officers, the DC asked the concerned Officers to immediately bring the issues and the problems faced by implementing agencies into the notice of the District Administration so that the same can be resolved at an earliest.

Babila Rakwal further asked officers to focus on the tendering and allotment of works to facilitate timely execution.

The DC directed the Minor Irrigation work, PWD, JJM, Health, Education, Youth Services and Sports, Rural Development to complete all the works in stipulated time frame and as per the guidelines of the Finance department.

Stressing upon close coordination at different  levels of Administrative units and PRIs, Babila Rakwal advised the officers to work in synergy for the speeding completion of development works in the district.

The DC also instructed the sectoral officers to finish their task of completing ongoing works and the tendering process of all new works within next three months.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Salathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, ACD Anirudh Rai, CMO, XENs, BDO’s and other sectoral  officers.
