On receiving information from local villagers about a tree falling on a Bakrwal tent at Richwali Dhok after Heavy rain and winds lashed the area, team of 26 Assam Rifles at Chanddaji TOB launched a rescue mission with the local villagers, for extracting the injured from the accident location located on a hilltop deep within forest under heavy rain and wind conditions.
Team along with local villagers was able to extract parents and a girl child successfully but a 6 year old minor succumbed to injury on the spot.
After giving Basic first aid at Chandajii TOB the injured were evacuated to nearby hospital.
