INDIAN ARMY FLAGS OF NARI SHAKTI TREK TO SUPPORT WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IN GUREZ

A four day Nari Shakti Trek to the Alpine Patalwan lake in the pristine Gurez valley was flagged of today by a senior officer of the Indian Army from the Dawar helipad ground. The trek is aimed at promoting women empowerment and breaking the stereo type role of women in the society.
10 women from different parts of the country are participating in this exhilarating and never before initiative by the Indian Army in Gurez.
