SSP Shopian flags off a group of students for Bharat Darshan Tour

June 10:  As a part of Civic Action Programme of J&K police, Police in Shopian flagged off group of students comprising of 43 students of district Shopian for five day long Bharat Darshan Tour-2022. The tour was organized by police and all boarding and lodging facilities, to and fro air tickets including all other logistic facilities are being provided by police.

SSP Shopian Ms Tanushree-IPS while interacting with the touring students said that Bharat Darshan tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the youth of the district to understand the togetherness of India inspite of immense diversity. She also said that it is an effort of J&K police to expose our youth to exciting tourist spots of the country, historical places and other famous workplaces which would make them aware of art, culture, people and rich diversity of our country. She also emphasized the importance of organizing such tours and said that the tour would help youth to develop a better understanding of the country and would help them to become a responsible citizen.
