Indian Army organises Trip to Tulip Garden for NCC Cadets of Trehgam

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united and disciplined citizens of the nation.
Trehgam is no different from rest the country. Recently, first batch for training NCC cadets was started and it has been more than three months that these cadets have put in their sweat to train themselves and to mould themselves into the responsible citizen of this country.

They have not just been training but have also showcased their hardwork during the celebrations of Republic Day 2022, and they even carried out a marchpast through Trehgam Market to motivate others and to become a rolemodel for them to move ahead, work hard to achieve their dreams in life. There efforts have moved many people and have been appreciated by all which is visible in increase in queries to join NCC by locals. They were also recently appreciated by Lt Gen DP Pandey, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, GOC, Chinar Corps.

As a token of appreciation for their efforts and hard work and motivating them, Indian Army recently organised a trip for the complete batch to witness the mesmerising beauty of the famous Tulip Garden in Srinagar. This trip was much appreciated by the parents and cadets as well as it has been over two years that they were not able to move out of Trehgam to enjoy because of COVID-19 pandemic. One of the cadet was so overwhelmed on returning from the trip that he expressed he has only heard from others or only seen the Tulip garden pictures in newspapers or on internet but he never imagined to go and witness this amazing landscape of Tulips by himself.
