In order to educate public /private sector and Police personnel and to increase cyber resilience of the National Event, the “CYBER AWARENESS DAY” was organized on 10.03.2022 at DPL Reasi, Higher Secondary School Katra and Bus Stand Arnas. Amit Bhasin, JKPS, SP Katra delivered lecture to the students and staff of Higher Secondary School Katra, Sh. Surjeet Kumar, JKPS, SP Hqrs. Reasi made aware officers/officials of DPL Reasi and Inspr Ashwani Sharma, SHO P/S Arnas to the general public of Arnas. The theme was to make aware the students, public and police personnel about different types of Cyber Crimes i.e Phishing, Smashing , Wishing, Cyber grooming, Cyber bulling, cyber staking, online job frauds, sexting etc. The participants of these events have hailed the efforts of Jammu & Kashmir Police in guiding and making them aware about the latest trends of the cyber crime.
Amit Gupta, JKPS, SSP Reasi emphasized that in future such programmes viz debate competitions, seminars and quiz competition etc. will also be conducted in the educational institutions as well as other locations all across the District to aware the general public regarding cyber crime.
