Pulwama : Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Dangerpora area of main town Pulwama.
Reports said that forces have sealed all the entry and exit points and launched house-to-house searches in the area.
A police official said that CASO was launched following information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that searches were jointly launched by Army’s 55 RR, Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) and 182 battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
