“I appreciate and congratulate all the participants and winners of this event for their excellent performances. All the participants took part in the event with great zeal. I congratulate armed police for conducting this event,” he said.

Replying to a question, he said that situation is quite under control and the people only want peace as they are against all forms of violence.

“The people have condemned all the recent incidents and have always cooperated with the security forces. Many children today participated in this event which is absolutely a positive step towards peace and development.”

He said that the violence has created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among every citizen of the valley. “Now there should be pens and books in place of guns and stones. Youth should focus on their future so that development takes place in the Valley,” he said.
