New Delhi, Oct 8 (JKNS): The Embassy of India in Riyadh has issued an advisory for Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia, urging them to remain alert and vigilant and follow instructions issued by local authorities through official channels in view of the current situation.
The Embassy has advised Indian nationals to stay indoors as necessary and exercise caution amid the ongoing developments, as per news agency JKNS.
Indian nationals have also been strongly advised against circulating or reposting videos or news related to the ongoing events.
The Embassy of India in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah, along with their outsourced services through VFS, are continuing to function normally, the advisory said.
The Embassy said further updates and advisories would be issued as and when necessary.
The Indian community has been advised to follow the official social media handles of the Embassy for verified updates.
