Srinagar, Oct 3 (JKNS): Secretary, Union Ministry of Power, Pankaj Agarwal, on Saturday visited the Seva Setu Abhiyan Camp being organised under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in Srinagar, reviewing the arrangements and implementation of the rooftop solar scheme in the region.

As per news agency JKNS, Secretary, Union Ministry of Power, Pankaj Agarwal, visited the Seva Setu Abhiyan Camp being organised under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana at Srinagar.

 

Shri Agarwal inspected various stalls and help desks set up at the camp and interacted with vendors providing services related to the scheme.

 

Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), Shri Mahmood Ahmad Shah, briefed the Secretary on the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in the region and the initiatives being undertaken to facilitate public access to rooftop solar-related services.

 

The Seva Setu Abhiyan Camp is aimed at strengthening public outreach, facilitating citizen-centric service delivery and creating awareness among citizens about the benefits of rooftop solar under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. (JKNS)
