Those Trying to Run Pakistan’s Agenda in J&K Assembly Will Not Succeed BJP Will Resist From Jammu to Kashmir
Srinagar Sep 29: BJP Spokesperson Manzoor Bhat strongly condemned the attempts to bring the Pakistan backed political narrative into the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly asserting that Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India and no such agenda will be allowed to succeed.
Bhat said, Those who want to run Pakistan’s agenda in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly should understand one thing clearly this will not be allowed. Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India, and as long as BJP workers are standing on the ground, no one will be allowed to compromise the unity and integrity of the nation.
He said the BJP will oppose every attempt to revive separatist and divisive politics in Jammu & Kashmir.
The people of Jammu & Kashmir have rejected the politics of separatism and violence. They want peace, development and a better future. We will not allow anyone to drag J&K back into the politics of the past for narrow political gains Bhat said.
He added that the BJP has taken the fight to the ground and is holding demonstrations from Jammu to Kashmir at the district level.
From Jammu to Kashmir, BJP workers are protesting against this attempt. Every district will raise its voice. We will fight this agenda democratically, constitutionally and peacefully. This is not the Jammu Kashmir of the past this is a Jammu Kashmir that is moving forward with India he said.
Questioning the Congress party’s position, Bhat said Congress must make its stand clear before the people.
Congress must answer the people Is it supporting this attempt to run Pakistan’s agenda through the J&K Assembly Is it supporting the politics of separatism and division? Congress cannot hide behind an alliance. It must clearly state its position before the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the country,” he said.
Bhat reiterated that the BJP will not compromise on national unity and constitutional integrity.
Pakistan’s agenda has no place in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly. Those attempting to bring it through the backdoor will face the democratic resistance of the BJP and the people. We will not allow this to happen. From Jammu to Kashmir, the BJP will stand firmly against every such attempt Manzoor Bhat said.
