Srinagar, September 27, In recognition of his notable contributions to social service and anti-drug activities, Shah Fayaz, President of the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC), Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA), and National Secretary of the Indian Public Service Employees Federation (IPSEF), was honoured with the prestigious “Top 50 Leaders of India Award” at a ceremony held in New Delhi.
Shah Fayaz secured the ninth position in the nationwide list. The recognition was conferred upon individuals from various fields for their notable contributions to social welfare, public service and the betterment of society.
Shah Fayaz was particularly recognised for his sustained efforts against drugs and narco-terrorism, besides his various initiatives in the field of social service in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the ceremony, Shah Fayaz was felicitated by prominent political and educational personalities, including Hon’ble Minister Dr Subash Choudhary and BJP National Spokesperson Dr Mahesh Verma, along with other dignitaries and public representatives.
Speaking to the media after receiving the honour, Shah Fayaz expressed gratitude and dedicated the recognition to his colleagues and team members.
“I dedicate this award and honour to my entire team working across all districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Their continued support, commitment and hard work have been the real strength behind every effort we have undertaken for the betterment of society,” he said.
The event was attended by leaders, policymakers and social workers from different parts of the country. The occasion also highlighted individuals making notable contributions to grassroots social development, public service and national service.
Meanwhile, JKTA spokesperson Dar Ajaz congratulated Shah Fayaz on receiving the “Top 50 Leaders of India Award.” He appreciated Shah Fayaz’s contribution to social service, his role in the education sector and his efforts towards creating awareness against drug abuse. Dar Ajaz also conveyed his best wishes to Shah Fayaz for further success in his future endeavours.
