Srinagar, Sep 20 (JKNS): A seven-year-old girl was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Barbar Shah area of Srinagar city on Sunday evening, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the girl sustained critical injuries after being hit by the vehicle near Barbar Shah.
She was shifted to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead, the official said.
The deceased has been identified as Sidra, 7, daughter of Sajad Ahmad, a resident of Bihar.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated a probe into the circumstances leading to the accident. (JKNS)
