Budgam, Sep 18 (JKNS): A 21-year-old youth was found dead at his residence in the Qadi Pora area of Budgam during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the youth was found unconscious at his residence, following which police were informed.
Police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The deceased has been identified as Shafat Hussain, 21, a resident of Qadi Pora, Budgam.
The body will be handed over to the family after completion of necessary legal formalities for the last rites.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. (JKNS)
