Srinagar, Sep 16 (JKNS): 132 Bn CRPF, Sanatnagar, Srinagar, under the aegis of Srinagar Sector, organised a Volleyball Tournament under the Civic Action Programme 2025-26 in J&K Region at the Volleyball Court, 132 Bn, Nedous Hotel, Srinagar, from 14/09/2026 to 16/09/2026.

A total of 08 teams participated in the said tournament, which was played on a knockout basis.

The final match of the tournament was played on 16/09/2026 between ANSARI TIGERS and SANGAM SPIKERS, in which ANSARI TIGERS won the match/tournament. Mr. Mobin Ahmad of ANSARI TIGERS was selected as the Best Player of the tournament.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was organised and was formally closed in a function by Sh. W. R. Josuah, Commandant-132 Bn CRPF, as the Chief Guest in the presence of officers and men of 132 Bn CRPF, teams/players and inhabitants of M.A. Road, Srinagar.

The Winning Team (ANSARI TIGERS) was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Trophy and Certificates. The Runners-Up Team (SANGAM SPIKERS) was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7,000/-, Trophy and Certificates, while the Best Player of the tournament was given a cash prize of Rs. 1,500/-, Trophy and Certificate.

Mr. Wasim, Captain of Team ANSARI TIGERS, and Mr. Irfan, Captain of SANGAM SPIKERS, along with other players, expressed gratitude to 132 Bn CRPF for organising the Volleyball Tournament under the Civic Action Programme.
