SDM Karnah Reviews Arrangements for Sharda Diwas at Historic Sharda Yatra Temple, Teetwal

KARNAH, SEPTEMBER 16(JKNS): With preparations underway for the upcoming Sharda Diwas at the historic Sharda Yatra Temple, Teetwal, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the venue and surrounding areas to review arrangements for the devotees’ programme and the Chhari Mubarak procession.

The SDM was accompanied by officers and officials of the Sub-Divisional Administration and representatives of concerned departments. Ravinder Pandita, Chairman, Save Sharda Committee Kashmir, briefed the administration about the proposed programme and apprised it of the logistical requirements for the event.

During the inspection, arrangements were reviewed in detail, with particular focus on security, uninterrupted water and electricity supply, sanitation, traffic management, medical assistance, crowd facilitation and other essential civic and logistical arrangements.

The SDM directed all concerned departments to ensure that every requisite arrangement is put in place well in advance through effective inter-departmental coordination, keeping in view the significance of the occasion.(JKNS)
