Budgam, Sept 15 (JkNS): The protest by employees of the National Health Mission (NHM) under the banner of the All J&K NHM Employees Association, District Budgam, continued for the seventh consecutive day on today with employees reiterating their demands for job policy, retirement benefits and salary revision.
The protesting employees said they have been serving the healthcare system for years and urged the authorities to address their long-pending demands on a priority basis.
The association highlighted job policy, retirement benefits and salary revision as its major demands, while stressing the need for justice, dignity and better service-related benefits for NHM employees.
The protesters maintained that their agitation would continue until their genuine demands are considered and appropriate measures are taken by the concerned authorities.
The employees also appealed to the administration and the government to initiate dialogue with their representatives and resolve the issues at the earliest. (JKNS)
