Srinagar, Sept 3 (JKNS): The Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has ordered the transfer and posting of three IAS officers of the AGMUT Cadre from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on September 3, 2026, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, Mohd Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT: 2012), Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 2019), and Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2020), have been transferred from Jammu & Kashmir and posted to Arunachal Pradesh.

The postings have been ordered with the approval of the Competent Authority and will remain in force until further orders.

The order further directs that all three officers shall be relieved from their present assignments within 15 days from the date of issuance of the order.

The order was issued under File No. 15041/08/2023-UTS.I and signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. (JKNS)
