Baramulla, Sept 2 (JKNS): An awareness and counselling programme for Civil Services aspirants was held at Government Degree College for Women, Baramulla, on Wednesday.
The programme was organised by the Human Aid Society Kashmir in collaboration with Government Degree College for Women, Baramulla, with the objective of guiding and motivating students aspiring to join the Civil Services.
Farooq Ahmad, former Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the students, he shared his valuable experience and insights into civil services, highlighting the importance of dedication, discipline, proper planning and perseverance in competitive examinations.
Experts and experienced professionals also interacted with the students and provided guidance on preparation strategies, career opportunities and the Civil Services examination process.
The organisers stressed the importance of providing proper mentorship and counselling to young aspirants, particularly those from the region. Students actively participated in the interactive session and expressed appreciation for the initiative.
