Srinagar, Sept 1 (JKNS): Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Casual Daily Wagers Forum (JKCDF) on Tuesday held a protest at Press Enclave in Srinagar, demanding regularisation of their services and resolution of their long-pending issues.

“The government should take the matter forward and resolve our issues. They promised regularisation and we want them to fulfil the promise,” Parray said.

He said a 16-minute film highlighting the struggles and hardships faced by daily wagers would be released at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, later on Tuesday.

Parray further said the forum would hold another protest at SK Park, Srinagar, on September 10.

“We will continue our peaceful struggle until the government addresses the long-pending demand of daily wagers,” he said. (JKNS)
