Kupwara, Aug 28 (JKNS): In a heartwarming display of affection, respect and national solidarity, women from different villages of Kupwara celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with soldiers of the Kupwara Terriers at Patahirri Garrison.
The celebration brought together local women and soldiers, many of whom are stationed away from their families and loved ones.
The women tied rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers, symbolising the sacred bond of love, trust, protection and mutual respect between brothers and sisters.
