KANGAN, Aug 22: BJP State Executive Member J&K UT and District Panchayat Raj Election In-charge Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah, along with State Executive Member Cooperative Cell and Block Panchayat In-charges Kangan, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, and former Kisan Morcha President Ganderbal Shabir Ahmad Ganaie, visited the spot following the tragic recovery of the body of 18-year-old Danish Bilal, son of Bilal Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Illahi Bagh, Rangpora, Srinagar, from Nallah Sindh near Prang, Kangan, after nearly one-and-a-half days of search efforts.
The teenager had reportedly gone missing after drowning while taking a bath in Nallah Sindh near the dumping park at Kijpara. Police, SDRF personnel and local residents immediately launched a search operation, which continued for nearly two days before his body was recovered near Prang.
During his visit, Mohammad Amin Shah expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He appreciated the efforts of the Police, SDRF and local volunteers who participated in the search operation.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
