Baramulla Police Intensify Drive Against Wild Bhung; 03 Kanals Cleared at Wanigam Payeen

Baramulla, Aug 19 (JKNS): Continuing its sustained efforts to curb the menace of wild bhung and prevent its use for substance abuse, Baramulla Police conducted a Wild Bhung destruction drive at Wanigam Payeen today.

During the drive, wild bhung spread over approximately 03 kanals of land was systematically destroyed.

The operation was carried out with the active participation and cooperation of local residents, who extended their support to the initiative.

The Police appreciated the community members for their participation and called for continued public support in making the district free from the menace of drugs and wild bhung.

Baramulla Police reiterated its commitment to protecting the younger generation from substance abuse and urged the public to actively cooperate in identifying and eliminating wild bhung from their surroundings. (JKNS)
