Budgam, July 29 (JKNS): Three CRPF personnel were injured after a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle met with an accident near Sheikhpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday after reportedly colliding with a Chinar tree.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS that the accident took place in the afternoon hours, leaving three CRPF personnel injured.

They said one of the injured personnel, who sustained comparatively serious injuries, was referred to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment, while the other two are undergoing medical treatment locally.

Meanwhile, the road near Sheikhpora, which remained temporarily blocked following the accident, has been cleared and reopened for traffic.

Vehicular movement between Budgam and Srinagar has been fully restored, while commuters have been advised to drive cautiously and strictly follow traffic regulations. (JKNS)
