2 Killed, 4 Injured as Tempo Meets With Accident in Doda

Doda, July 25 (JKNS): Two persons were killed while four others sustained injuries after a tempo met with an accident in the Jatheli Mohalla area of Doda district on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident took place at around 2:30 PM when a tempo bearing registration number JK06B-8096 met with an accident at Jatheli Mohalla under the jurisdiction of Police Station Doda.

They said two persons died on the spot, while four others were injured in the mishap. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.

 

Officials said the identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be ascertained.

 

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. (JKNS)
