New Delhi, July 24 (JKNS): Ravneet Singh Bittu on Friday resigned from the Union Council of Ministers, stepping down from his responsibilities as Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State for Food Processing Industries.
According to official information, the President of India has accepted his resignation with immediate effect as per news agency JKNS.
No official reason for Bittu’s resignation has been announced so far.
According to the press communiqué issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan as per news agency JKNS reads, “The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has accepted the resignation of Shri Ravneet Singh from the Union Council of Ministers, with immediate effect, under clause (2) of Article 75 of the Constitution of India.” (JKNS)
