Budgam, July 17 (JKNS): The All J&K Shia Association organized a Majlis-e-Aza at Taingan, Budgam, which was attended by Association President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, General Secretary Abid Ansari, and Spokesperson Syed Taib.
Addressing the gathering, Syed Taib recited the Majlis and emphasized the significance of preserving the centuries-old tradition of Majalis-e-Aza and Marsiya Khwani. He said it was unfortunate that some individuals were spreading misleading propaganda against the holding of Majalis-e-Aza for their own personal interests and agendas. He asserted that the All J&K Shia Association has always remained steadfast in protecting and promoting the institution of Majlis-e-Aza, which serves as a means of preserving the message of Imam Hussain (AS), strengthening faith, and passing the values of sacrifice, justice, and truth from one generation to the next.
He added that it is through these Majalis, Marsiyas, and remembrance gatherings that the teachings and sacrifices of Karbala continue to live in the hearts of the believers, and that no propaganda can diminish their religious and spiritual importance.
The Majlis concluded with Surah Al-Fatiha for the late Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei and all those martyred in Iran, followed by prayers for peace, unity, and the success and victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. (JKNS)
