Srinagar Airport Withdraws Monday-Tuesday Runway Closure Plan

Only Night Runway Closures for Maintenance to Continue Till October; Daily Flight Operations to Continue from 8 AM to 5 PM

Srinagar, July 4 (JKNS): Srinagar Airport on Saturday withdrew the proposed Monday and Tuesday runway closure plan, stating that only night closures for scheduled runway maintenance will continue till October 2026.

According to an official operations update as per news agency JKNS, airport operations will continue on all days with operational and watch hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The airport said the previously proposed NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) regarding runway closure on Mondays and Tuesdays has been withdrawn. Airlines will continue to update their schedules in accordance with the prevailing operational timings.

Passengers have been advised to check the status of their flights with their respective airlines before proceeding to the airport and rely only on official channels for authentic operational updates. (JKNS)
