Lost Gold Recovered, Returned to Owner After Swift Police-CRPF Action in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 2 (JKNS): A gold item that was misplaced near Iqbal Park in Srinagar was recovered and returned to its rightful owner following a prompt operation by Police Station Sher-i-Ghari and CRPF personnel, officials said on Thursday.

Details available with news agency JKNS that the complainant had reported the loss of the gold item at Police Station Sher-i-Ghari after misplacing it near Iqbal Park on Wednesday.

Acting swiftly on the complaint, the police, with the assistance of nearby CRPF personnel, launched a search operation and successfully recovered the lost gold item.

The recovered valuables were subsequently handed over to the rightful owner after completing the necessary formalities, officials said.

The complainant appreciated the prompt response and coordination of the police and CRPF personnel and expressed gratitude to SHO Sher-i-Ghari, Inspector Isaaq, for ensuring the quick recovery and return of the lost item.

Police said the successful recovery reflects their commitment to public service and maintaining public trust through timely action. (JKNS)
