Srinagar, July 1 (JKNS): Srinagar United became the first team to book a place in the final of the Kashmir Champions Football League (KCFL) 2026 after defeating Bandipora Blasters 3-1 in Qualifier 1 at the Synthetic Turf Football Ground, TRC Srinagar on Wednesday.
Organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, the tournament witnessed another high-quality contest as Srinagar United continued their impressive run with a clinical display to secure direct qualification for the championship clash.
The star of the evening was Huzaif Bhat, who produced a brilliant attacking performance by scoring two goals and played a decisive role in guiding his side to victory. Srinagar United dominated key phases of the match, combining disciplined defending with swift attacking football to overcome a resilient Bandipora Blasters outfit.
With the victory, Srinagar United have advanced directly to the KCFL final, while Bandipora Blasters will get another opportunity to fight for a place in the title clash through Qualifier 2.
