Srinagar, Jun 25 (JKNS): An 18-year-old non-local youth died after found unconscious inside his rented accommodation in the Hyderpora area of Srinagar, officials said on Thursday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that a police party from Police Station Sadar brought the youth to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Sanu, son of Mohammad Aehsaan, a resident of Bijnoor, currently residing as a tenant near Hotel Reyan in Hyderpora.
The youth was found unconscious inside the bathroom of his rented room in Hyderpora, following which he was shifted to the hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death. (JKNS)
