Coaching Centres Across J&K to Remain Closed on Sunday Ahead of NEET-2026 Re-Test

Srinagar, June 20 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government have ordered the closure of all coaching centres across Jammu and Kashmir on June 21 (Sunday) in view of the upcoming NEET-2026 re-examination.

According to separate orders issued by the Director School Education Kashmir and Director School Education Jammu, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, all coaching centres functioning in Kashmir and Jammu divisions shall remain closed on the day of the examination.

The orders state that the decision has been taken to facilitate the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET examination scheduled for June 21.

Both directorates have warned that any deviation from the orders will invite strict action under law against the defaulting coaching institutes.

The orders have been issued with the approval of the competent authority, officials said. (JKNS)
