Anantnag, Jun 13 (JKNS): Three minor girls who had gone missing from the Nunwani area of Brakpora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district have been traced safely within hours, police said on Saturday.

According to information available with news agency JKNS, the girls, all residents of Nunwani Brakpora in the Achabal area, had gone missing on Friday evening between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, prompting police to launch a search operation.

Anantnag Police said that acting swiftly, police teams initiated efforts to trace the missing girls and successfully located all three within a few hours.

The girls were found safe and are being handed over to their families after completion of the required legal formalities, police said.

Police added that the prompt response and coordinated efforts of the teams involved ensured the safe and timely recovery of the missing minors. (JKNS)
