Srinagar, June 10 (JKNS): Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth on Wednesday praised the extensive reconstruction and beautification works carried out at the revered Hazratbal Shrine, lauding Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi for spearheading the landmark redevelopment initiative.
As per news agency JKNS, Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth hails Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi for Hazratbal reconstruction & beautification project.
The minister today visited the famous shrine and paid obeisance there and prayed for peace and prosperity of all. Union Minister took a tour of the campus and appreciated the vast development undertook by the Board during the past four years.
Later speaking on a special event held outside the shrine, the Minister said that in the land of knowledge and spirituality, Dargah Hazratbal has great significance and the reconstruction and redevelopment if this shrine by the Waqf Board under the leadership of Dr Andrabi is very impressive.
He said that the message of our spirituality of Kashmir is the guiding force for peace and lasting harmony in Kashmir.
In addition to the Waqf Chairperson and others who accompanied Sanjay Seth included Rakesh Mahajan BJP State Vice President, Anwar Khan (BJP State Gen Sec), Er.Sahil Bashir Bhat (State SpokesPerson BJP), Arif Raja (BJP State Secratary) and Manzoor Bhat (State SpokesPerson BJP).
Waqf Chairperson thanked Union Minister for sparing hisbtime for visiting Dargah Hazratbal. She briefed him about the developmental plan of Waqf Board in whole of Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
