The conclave began with an inaugural ceremony featuring speeches by distinguished guests and organisers, who stressed the importance of empowering students through leadership, education and positive social participation.

Addressing the gathering, speakers said the future of society lies in the hands of educated and responsible youth and urged students to channel their energy towards nation-building, innovation and community welfare.

“Leadership does not begin with power or designation. A real leader is someone who inspires change, supports society and stands for truth and responsibility,” one of the speakers said during the event.

Participants were also encouraged to remain away from drugs, alcohol and other harmful activities, with several speakers describing youth as the strongest pillar of a progressive and developed society.

“Students must remain connected with libraries and playgrounds instead of falling into the trap of drugs and negativity. The future of Kashmir depends on conscious and constructive youth leadership,” another speaker remarked.

During the interactive sessions, students discussed various campus-related issues, challenges faced by youth and the importance of dialogue, participation and awareness in educational institutions.

The speakers also highlighted the need for young people to actively contribute towards environmental awareness, social harmony and community service while promoting a culture of discipline, compassion and innovation.

The conclave witnessed active engagement from participants, many of whom described the event as an inspiring platform that motivated students to think beyond academics and become responsible contributors to society.

Organisers said the objective of “SARBARA 2026” was to nurture leadership qualities among students and provide them a platform to express ideas, engage in constructive discussions and contribute positively towards society and nation-building.

The event concluded with a collective message encouraging youth to emerge as responsible leaders capable of guiding society towards peace, development and progress. (JKNS)
