On 08 May 2026, Saving The Future (STF) in collaboration with the Indian Army organised a Students Outreach Programme at Woodlands House School Boys Wing as part of the ongoing “100 Days of Nasha Mukt J&K” campaign initiated by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Manoj Sinha. The programme marked the third event of the awareness series launched by STF to strengthen the fight against drug abuse and substance addiction among youth across the Valley.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively took part in an awareness rally across the nearby locality, spreading the message of a drug-free society and encouraging people to stay away from harmful substances. Carrying placards and raising awareness slogans, the students highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in combating the growing menace of drug addiction.

As part of the outreach initiative, students also interacted with local shopkeepers and appealed to them to refrain from selling tobacco, cigarettes, and other harmful products to youngsters. The interaction aimed to create social accountability at the grassroots level and encourage community participation in safeguarding the younger generation from addiction and substance abuse.

The programme concluded with a strong message that awareness, community support, and youth participation are essential pillars in building a healthier and drug-free society. STF reaffirmed its commitment to continue organising similar outreach programmes in collaboration with the Indian Army and educational institutions under the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K campaign.
