Solar Push Gains Momentum in J&K; Minister Satish Sharma Backs Rooftop Expansion Drive

Srinagar: On the directions of Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Mr Omar Abdullah The Jammu and Kashmir Solar Association today met the Hon’ble Minister for Science and Technology at his residence in Church Lane and discussed key issues related to the promotion of renewable energy in the Union Territory.

During the meeting, the Minister assured full support to the Association, particularly for the installation of rooftop solar systems in far-flung and underserved areas across Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the government’s commitment to expanding clean and sustainable energy infrastructure in the region.
