SSP Anantnag Reviews Security and Arrangements for Sanjay 2026 Yatra

Anantnag, Apr 30 (JKNS): SSP Anantnag, Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting at the Conference Hall of DPO Anantnag to review and finalize arrangements for the upcoming Sanjay 2026 Yatra.

The meeting was attended by SP Headquarters Anantnag, ASP North (Camp Aishmuqam), along with other senior police officers and concerned officials. Detailed deliberations were held on various aspects of security, traffic management, crowd control, and coordination with other line departments to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the Yatra.

SSP Anantnag emphasized the importance of maintaining robust security measures and seamless coordination among all stakeholders. He directed officers to remain vigilant, ensure proper deployment of personnel, and strengthen communication systems to address any contingencies effectively.

Special focus was laid on facilitating pilgrims, ensuring their safety, and providing all necessary assistance throughout the Yatra period. Officers were instructed to conduct regular inspections, identify vulnerable points, and take proactive measures to mitigate any potential risks.

The meeting concluded with a comprehensive review of preparedness and a reiteration of commitment by all officers to ensure the peaceful and successful conduct of Sanjay 2026 Yatra. (JKNS)
