Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sheikh Ghulam Rasool appreciated the efforts of the organization and emphasized that people should come forward to support welfare institutions that are continuously working for the betterment of society. He stated that organizations like Carrying People Welfare Foundation are playing a vital role in assisting the underprivileged and deserve public support and encouragement.

While interacting with the media, he further said that youth must step forward and actively participate in social service, while also keeping a check on the functioning of NGOs. He also urged the administration to take serious notice of the matter and ensure transparency.

Chairman of the Foundation, Muzamil Ahmad, in his address said that the initiative aims to help poor families conduct marriages of their daughters with dignity. He reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to continue such welfare activities and extend support to the deserving sections of society in the future.

During the programme, several marriage kits containing essential household items were distributed among the beneficiaries. Locals and attendees appreciated the initiative and praised the organizers for their noble contribution to social welfare. (JKNS)
