CRPF Flags Off ‘Bharat Darshan’ Tour for Budgam Youth, Promotes National Integration

Budgam, Apr 24 (JKNS): As part of the Civic Action Programme of CRPF, R. Jaya Kumar, CO 43 Bn CRPF, flagged off a group of 20 students from district Budgam for a five-day Bharat Darshan tour to Delhi-Agra.

The tour, organized by 43 Bn CRPF, includes all boarding and lodging facilities, round-trip air tickets, and other logistical support. An impressive flag-off ceremony took place at DPL Srinagar, attended by officers/personnel of 43 Bn CRPF.

During the event, the CO 43 Bn and unit officers interacted with the students, who hail from various parts of Budgam. He emphasized that the Bharat Darshan tour aims to help the youth appreciate India’s unity amid its vast diversity.

He encouraged them to seize the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical sites and cultural landmarks across the country. The CO also urged the students to embrace the greatness of India, create lasting memories during the trip, and extended wishes for a fun-filled, safe, and transformative experience.

Over the five-day tour, the students will visit Delhi and Agra. Each student has been provided with tracksuits, shoes, and travel bags. Parents and participants expressed their gratitude to 43 Bn CRPF for this initiative, thanking them for the opportunity to explore these prominent cities.

Earlier, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, 2-IC, and Prabhat Kumar Singh, 2-IC of 43 Bn, welcomed the students and briefed them about the role of CRPF in nation building. (JKNS)
