Srinagar, April 9 (JKNS): In a major relief to daily wagers, the long-pending regularisation of all eligible PDL/TDL employees of the Power Development Department in Kashmir Province has been completed after a prolonged struggle.

The move marks a significant achievement, bringing an end to years of uncertainty faced by the workers and fulfilling a key demand of the employees.

 

The beneficiaries have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for addressing the issue, while also acknowledging the efforts of Managing Director KPDCL Mahmood Ahmad Shah, Chief Engineer Distribution KPDCL Er. Nisar Ahmad Lone, President JKEEGA Er. Peerzada Hidayatullah, and Chairman JK PDL/TDL Irfan Kawa for facilitating the process.

 

Employees said the development will provide stability and financial security to hundreds of workers who had been awaiting regularisation for years. (JKNS)
