Baramulla, Mar 28 (JKNS): A grand book launch ceremony of the poetry collection “Nagah Radan Manz” by renowned Kashmiri poet and writer Shoqeen Sonami was held at Hanji Veer Pattan in Baramulla district.
The event was organized jointly by the Jammu & Kashmir Cultural Academy and Inder Cultural Forum Sumbal Sonawari. President of Adabi Markaz Kamraz, Mohammad Amin Bhat, attended the function as the Chief Guest. Among other distinguished guests present on the occasion were Nisar Naseem, Dr. Raza, SHO Pattan, and several other notable personalities.
Prominent writers and literary figures from across the Kashmir Valley participated in the event, along with a large number of literature enthusiasts.
A special session marking World Theatre Day was also held during the program, where artists presented a theatrical performance. Scholars also presented papers highlighting the importance of theatre in the modern era.
The event concluded with a grand Mushaira (poetry session), where poets recited their work, adding charm and literary spirit to the occasion. (JKNS)
