JKPSC Declares CCE-2024 Results; 90 Candidates Recommended for Medical Examination

Srinagar, Mar 13 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Friday declared the results of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, announcing that 340 candidates who appeared in the personality test have been declared successful, while 90 candidates have been recommended for medical examination as part of the final selection process.

According to an official notification issued by the Commission as per news agency JKNS, the results were declared vide Notification No. 16-PSC (DR-S) of 2026 dated March 13 after completion of the interview stage conducted at the JKPSC office in Jammu. The General Administration Department had earlier referred 90 posts to the Commission for recruitment through CCE-2024.

Officials said that a total of 31,644 candidates were provisionally allowed to appear in the preliminary examination held on February 23, 2025, out of which 19,659 candidates actually appeared. Based on the criteria fixed by the Commission, 2,768 candidates qualified the preliminary stage and were declared eligible for the mains examination.

The Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination was conducted from July 23 to August 1, 2025 at centres in Jammu and Srinagar, with 2,492 candidates appearing in all papers. Later, 345 candidates were shortlisted for the interview or personality test stage, which was conducted from March 5 to March 13, 2026 at the JKPSC office in Jammu.

Out of the candidates called for the personality test, four did not appear. Following the interviews, the Commission declared the results of 340 candidates and recommended 90 candidates in order of merit, in accordance with the reservation rules, for medical examination before the medical boards at Government Medical College Srinagar or Government Medical College Jammu.

The dates for the medical examination will be notified separately, officials said. (JKNS)
