Rajouri, Mar 10 (JKNS): In a swift and coordinated operation, the Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jhangar-Nowshera sector on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a post by White Knight Corps on X as per news agency JKNS, one terrorist was neutralised. “Movement of two terrorists was detected in the general area of Jhangar, Nowshera along the Line of Control at around 3 pm on 10 Mar 2026. Responding with swift and calibrated combat action, alert troops engaged and successfully foiled the infiltration attempt.”

“In the ensuing encounter, one Pakistan-sponsored terrorist was eliminated, effectively preventing any breach of the LoC,” it said.

The post added that troops have been repositioned to track the second terrorist and maintain complete control of the area, backed by integrated ground and aerial surveillance.

“A robust operational posture and heightened alert continue across the sector. The Wall Stands Vigilant — Every Infiltration Bid Will Fail,” it stated. (JKNS)
