179 BN CRPF Organizes Free Medical Camps in Sopore on 87th Raising Day

Sopore, Mar 10 (JKNS): The 179 BN CRPF celebrated its 87th Raising Day by organizing free medical camps at multiple locations across Sopore, including Shahabad and Chakroady Khan Fruit Mandi.

The initiative aims to support community health and provide essential medical services to local residents.

Under the direction of CO 179-BN, V K Choudhary, a free medical camp was held at Government Middle School Chakroady Khan in Fruit Mandi, Sopore, providing consultations and medicines to approximately 250 individuals, including the elderly, women, and youth.

So far, around 500 people have benefited from these camps. The event was attended by dignitaries including DC Abhay Singh Bhatia, Inspector Ram Avtar Yadav, Dr. Javaid Ahmad Bhat, DO Fruit Mandi Khalid Hussain, and doctors from SDH Sopore such as Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad. Local lumberdars and school students also participated in the initiative.

The local populace expressed gratitude towards the 179 BN CRPF officials and jawans for their efforts. DC Abhay Singh Bhatia said, “We will organize more camps in the future for the welfare of the local populace.”

Lumberdar of Chakroady Khan expressed gratitude, stating, “We are thankful to the 179-BN CRPF team for providing free consultations and medicines to needy people. We hope more camps are organized in the region.” (JKNS
